Albemarle Peanuts is located in eastern North Carolina. Our peanuts come from local peanut farmers that specialize in growing only  Virginia type peanuts. Peanuts are grown in many areas of the United States, but the Virginia variety is only grown in a few locations in North Carolina and Virginia. Our peanuts have a rich, hearty peanut taste that no other variety can match. This "gourmet" peanut is excellent in recipes and delicious when roasted in your oven or microwave. We include a recipe sheet in each burlap bag of our shelled peanuts, so that you can try the many recipes that use peanuts.
